In general, recycled PET materials had problems offering superior stretchability, but Toray’s advanced polymer quality control and spinning technologies enabled excellent stretch along with environmental friendliness for stretch fabrics using recycled PET.
In addition to superior elongation and recovery properties, Toray managed to make 68% of the components bio-based, making Primeflex more sustainable and with less impact on the earth.
